Renuvion
Renuvion uses helium gas, which is transformed into plasma by radiofrequency (RF) energy. The device is gently inserted under the skin, where the helium gas becomes energized by radiofrequency waves and delivers plasma beneath the skin to cause a gentle tightening effect and stimulate collagen production. The contraction effect is seen immediately after your treatment, and it continues to improve as time goes on. Only one treatment is typically needed.
Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is another radiofrequency energy device that uses microneedling to boost collagen production. Tiny needles generate micro-wounds in the skin through which radiofrequency energy is delivered to contract and boost collagen. It’s an ideal skin rejuvenation option that can lift fine lines and wrinkles, but it doesn’t produce good results with higher degrees of skin laxity. You’ll also need multiple treatment sessions.
Renuvion Recovery
The Renuvion recovery process is a short one. Most patients can return to their normal activities within two days. However, healing may take about 1-2 weeks. You can expect mild discomfort and can easily treat it with over-the-counter painkillers.
If you treated your lower face and neck, you’ll need to wear a compression garment to protect the results. Wear it as much as possible for three days.
