Finding The Right Procedure For You

Body Contouring Inland Empire

When asked what they’re unhappy with concerning their appearance, many people rattle off a response almost unconsciously. The answer pokes at them every time they walk past a mirror and lives at the forefront of their minds. No more love handles! Less skin on my arms! Skinnier legs! These complaints, while different for each patient, are deeply personal. They often affect a patient’s self-image and confidence. While lifestyle gurus and personal trainers have long touted diet and exercise as the closed-circuit formula to achieve the body of your dreams, this fantasy is far from realistic. For most people, diet, and exercise alone only result in limited or disheartening results. That’s why Dr. Tehrani is so keen on delivering the most advanced body contouring procedures to his clientele. Now, finding which one best suits you is easier than ever before.

Too Much Skin?

Either through weight loss or pregnancy, excess skin can exist on just about any part of the body. When we’re younger, our body readily produces more collagen and elastin to keep our skin firm, tensile, and strong.[1] As it is our largest organ, our skin needs to be consistently refreshed with new collagen and elastin fibers to sustain its healthy appearance. But, when our skin loses its supply of healthy fibers, it can no longer keep up with our changing body. So, when you gain weight or go through a pregnancy, the skin stretches past its physiological limit to spread out the mechanical load. Once the skin stretches and lingers past a certain point, it is permanently altered. This process commonly results in loose, excess skin around the midsection, thighs, and arms. Luckily for those patients, Dr. Tehrani has just the procedures to help.

Tummy Tuck

Also known as an abdominoplasty, a tummy tuck is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin tissue from the abdomen and flanks. Dr. Tehrani makes a baseline incision just below the bikini line. From here, he can repair any muscles that have separated during pregnancy and excise all overlapping skin tissue. The result of this procedure is a flatter, leaner abdomen that is better toned and contoured.

Arm Lift

A common trouble spot for excess skin is around the tricep just above the elbow. Sometimes referred to as “bat wings”, excess skin and tissue can hang here and can be entirely unresponsive to diet and exercise. To treat this excess tissue, Dr. Tehrani utilizes an arm lift to gently lift the skin tissue closer to the bone, resulting in a better-defined upper arm. After this procedure, patients are excited to wear sleeveless tops without any self-consciousness about their stubborn “bat wings”.

Thigh Lift

Much like the upper arm, the upper legs also commonly carry unwanted excess skin after weight loss. For many, cellulite can be a burdensome condition around the thighs. To treat excess skin tissue and cellulite, Dr. Tehrani uses one of two thigh lift approaches: inner or outer. With either approach, he can make a discreet incision near the groin and lift the skin tissue tight. Next, he artfully sculpts away the appearance of cellulite and removes all redundant skin. He completes the procedure by ensuring the legs are symmetrical and beautifully contoured.

Unwanted Fat?

Adipose (fat) tissue is necessary for an overall balanced healthy body, but too much fat can mar your physique. When discussing fat it is important to note the two types of adipose tissue: subcutaneous and visceral. Visceral fat exists deeper in the body and is easily shed through proper diet and exercise. However, subcutaneous adipose tissue, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. Existing between the skin and muscle is a blanket of subcutaneous fat tissue that helps the body regulate heat loss, protect against dermal infection, and defend internal organs from external forces.[2] Because this fat serves an important role in your health and well-being, the body is reluctant to shed it. So, while diet and exercise are great solutions for visceral fat, they are like throwing darts at a tank when it comes to subcutaneous fat. But, with Dr. Tehrani’s fat contouring procedures, you can see a total rejuvenation to your silhouette.

VASER Hi-Def Liposuction

With VASER Hi-Def liposuction, Dr. Tehrani can expertly navigate in between your abdominal muscles and aspirate fat cells from their connective tissue. This procedure has often been deemed as “overnight abs” because of its ability to give patients washboard abdominals after one simple surgery.

Traditional Liposuction

With traditional liposuction, Dr. Tehrani maneuvers a thin tube called a cannula to extract fatty tissue from many different problem areas. These areas can include the abdomen, legs, buttocks, chest, arms, and flanks. This body contouring service can be added as a complementary addition to any skin tightening procedure to yield even better results.

BodyTite

For those with loose excess skin and unwanted fatty tissue, BodyTite is an all-in-one solution. BodyTite uses thermal, radiofrequency energy to heat subcutaneous fat cells, causing them to melt away from their connective tissue. This thermal energy also triggers a spike in collagen production as well as tightens existing fibers to tighten the surrounding skin. When combined with liposuction, BodyTite can improve body contouring results with tighter, smoother contours.

SlimLipo

SlimLipo uses safe and advanced laser technology to disrupt fat cells from their connective tissues, making them easier to extract during a liposculpture procedure. Because the SlimLipo technology is less invasive than traditional liposuction, recovery time is less extensive and involved compared to other liposuction methods.

Glamour Procedures

For those interested in enhancing their natural features and assets, Dr. Tehrani has a shortlist of glamour procedures to alter your curves and resolve any insecurities.

Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)

During a BBL, Dr. Tehrani liposuctions away troublesome fat from different areas of your body. Then, he purifies the fat cells, ensuring they’re ready to be relocated. He carefully injects the fat cells subcutaneously and evens out to the added fat to appear symmetrical, balanced, and lifted. Women who elect for a BBL are typically dissatisfied with the shape or projection of their buttocks and desire a boost to their behind. With his expert skills and surgical precision, Dr. Tehrani has helped hundreds of women achieve a more eye-catching silhouette.

SAFE Lipo BBL

The SAFE Lipo BBL is a three-step procedure that separates the fat from its connective tissue, aspirates it gently, then evens out the thin layer of fat left behind. This final step helps quell any contour irregularities and leaves a better-defined treated area behind. Once the fat has been cleansed and purified, Dr. Tehrani relocates it to the buttocks to add that enhanced boost to the shape and size of the butt.

Vaginal Rejuvenation

For those who are insecure about the appearance of their feminine region, Dr. Tehrani offers vaginal rejuvenation procedures to remove any external irregularities. If you are interested, please schedule a consultation with Dr. Tehrani to discuss what will be included in your personalized treatment plan.

So, Which One Is Right For You?

As a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Tehrani has helped thousands of patients navigate their way toward their ideal physique. During your consultation, he will note your areas of concern and recommend different treatment options that will best achieve your desired aesthetic appearance.
